February 1, 2016: Board of Review Findings Mailed On Monday, February 1, 2016, the Kane County Board of Review mailed its notices of findings for the 2015 session. Notices were mailed to all taxpayers (or their attorneys) of all properties that had decisions issued by the Board of Review. Pursuant to Illinois law, anyone wishing to appeal the decision of the Board of Review may do so within 30 days of the notice date. The appeal must be made to the Illinois Property Tax Appeal Board.
